Sea Change Drops Her Hypnotic Single ‘Is There Anybody There’

Norwegian singer/producer Ellen A. W. Sunde aka Sea Change kicks off the new year with an incredible single entitled ‘Is There Anybody There’.

A completely entrancing handing, Sunde’s haunting vocals set on top of the deep, semi-melancholic production create a magical meeting. There is almost a deep, tribal house feel to the song which takes the track into a club space. ‘Is There Anybody There’ is taken from Sea Change’s forthcoming album Mutual Dreaming, out February 11th on Shapes Recordings.

Touching on the single, Sea Change mentioned:

“‘Is There Anybody There’ came from a very lonely place – it was in the middle of the lockdown and all the streets were empty, and I guess I can say for a lot of people it was quite lonely at times. But then the song developed into this mindset where I tried to put myself into the body of someone who feels this lonely and alienated all the time, who longs for contact and validation, someone that’s outside of the system, living on the fringes of society, longing to be understood.”
