Athens artist Sarah P. has released a double single pack titled Plotting Revelations II which features the songs ‘Athena’ and ‘The Poem of a Clean Conscience’. Both songs are taken from her forthcoming LP Plotting Revelations. ‘Athena’ is an upbeat and dance-powered splash of cosmic disco stacked with luscious production whilst ‘The Poem of a Clean Conscience’ highlights Sarah P.’s vivid songwriting and storytelling ability painted over a shimmering pop palette. Poetically delivered, both tunes are reeling precursors to her new full-length which we can hardly wait for. Have a listen.

Touching on ‘Athena’, Sarah P. mentioned:

“‘Athena’ is a song I wrote about Athens while I was still living in Berlin and reluctant to resettle in my hometown. Many things have changed since then, but not my complicated relationship with the city I love to call my old/new home. Music-wise, I continue exploring the disco elements and the more organic sound of my Maenads EP, adding a “sturdy” rhythm section and floating synths & vocals that well-represent the paradoxes of my city – the edginess and fragility of Athens and its people.”
