Musical maverick Róisín Murphy has officially signed to Ninja Tune Records, which on paper makes complete sense considering both the Irish singer and the label’s mission to constantly explore and experiment with various musical styles.

The first manifestation on the imprint comes in the form of Róisín Murphy’s new single titled ‘CooCool’. Produced by DJ Koze, the track is a smooth and bouncy soul offering that finds Murphy playing with theatrical vocals at times before jumping back into more of a jazz style delivery. ‘CooCool’ is another testament of Róisín Murphy continuously stretching the boundaries of genre.
