Krakow-based DJ and producer DEAS has been steadily building a strong reputation in the techno scene with releases on labels such as Baroque Records, I Am Techno and Monique Musique. With his track “Mirage” featured on the Rhythm Distrikt compilation, forthcoming March 9th on Toolroom Records, DEAS has even caught the ears of techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson, with a song scheduled to drop on KMS Records.

DEAS has now unveiled his next techno weapon with the B12 EP, out on Bush Records. Consisting of four cuts, the title track sets the pace with hard, stomping kick drums, filtered vocals and paced, electrifying synths that operates in the vein of techno at it’s purest. “Cayenne” is an oath to the classic sound of acid, whilst “B52” is aimed square at the dance floor with its run-on rhythm that races like a Ferrari at Formula One. Saving the best for last, DEAS gets extremely dark with “Dementia”, kicking the listener square in the chest with an eerie soundscape of elongated bass. Delivering a solid EP from start to finish, B12 will go over well with those who love their techno without any fluff.
