Australian duo Party Dozen have inked a deal with the City Slang imprint, a label known for an onslaught of great records. Coinciding with the announcement, the pair have also unveiled a new single and video titled ‘Special Unit’.
‘Special Unit’ is a rapid punk excursion that is powered by totally wild guitar riffs, incorporated saxophone play, and loud vocal screams that will definitely raise the pulse.
The video features Party Dozen find themselves, well, in their own specific special unit in which they basically do everything opposite of what is declared lawful. Of course in the end you can catch the duo in handcuffs, which was definitely written in the stars.
Touching on the single, Party Dozen stated:
“You have the right to remain stupid. Anything you say or do will be laughable. If you cannot afford common sense, a version of it will be provided for you. You have minimal training and exhibit zero qualities that qualify you for the authority bestowed upon you. So here’s your gun, and your uniform. Have fun out there and welcome to SPECIAL UNIT.”
