Lisbon band MAQUINA. have returned with a fresh, new single dubbed ‘dança’ featuring Dame Area. The track is taken from their forthcoming LP ‘BODY TRANSMISSION’, landing July 10th via Fuzz Club.

‘dança’ is a dance floor friendly fusion of punk and electro that instantly makes you want to jump out of your seat and shake a leg. With a fuzzy guitar line running through the track whilst upbeat 4×4 drums thump like no one’s business, MAQUINA. injects elements of noise rock into the tune, fostering something even more edgy than the initial blast off. ‘dança’ will undoubtedly ring off in any underground club around the globe, and we’re here for it.

Touching on the song, MAQUINA. said:

“‘dança’ explores a moment of introspection: the importance of being with oneself, of making space for an intimate moment, even if through dance. When words fail, the body speaks. “I just want to dance” becomes a statement suspended between inward reflection and the need for release.”
