Listen to Virgen María’s Hyper-Electronic Release ‘G.O.D.’

Spanish DJ and artist María Forqué aka Virgen María has been ‘blexing’ fans for a couple years with her sets that features the Madrid-raised Forqué naked among projections. Challenging stigmas around religion, sexuality, femininity and more, she uses the digital medium to create installations with a healthy soundtrack of techno, trap, electro and Latin rhythms.

For her latest record G.O.D., María Forqué a slew of hyper beats that sound like it could be a soundtrack to a wild night in the Berlin club Berghain or a dark warehouse party brimming with hedonism. With the record containing seven cuts in total, echoing seductive vocals coincide with sexual moans on top of bass-shaking low end. Almost meditative, G.O.D. is a working of the senses in all the best ways possible.
