Swedish pop duo The Magnettes received raving reviews for their performance at this year’s SXSW in Austin, Texas, as well as their recent stage show at The Great Escape in Brighton. Hailing from Pajala, Rebecka Digervall and Sanna Kalla merge catchy pop melodies with upbeat electro rhythms, and at times, a punk angst. The two released their debut single ‘Paper Cut’ back in 2012, followed by their guitar-driven track ‘Who We Are’.
