Powerhouse artist Sola has unveiled her new EP entitled Feels Like A War, which is out now via Jamz Supernova’s imprint Future Bounce.
Produced by Sola herself, the four-track release features Moses Boyd, Ife Ogunjobi, Tora-i, and Raven Bush. Musically delivering a spirit-stirring taste of jazz, soul and more, the EP is a dense packing of social commentary and personal reflection handed with poise, class and ultimately gripping sounds that form the palette. Feels Like A War follows Sola’s 2020 EP Mami Wata.
Regarding the EP, Sola said:
“This EP is a self-reflective journey which was mostly written during a period where I had a chance to slow down and reflect. It’s also the first time I’ve really collaborated with other musicians on a project and it really pushed me creatively. It explores more classic and soulful sounds than my previous releases and will act as a prequel to more experimental releases from this creative period.”
