Producer, singer and DJ lau.ra (Laura Bettinson) is gearing up for the release of her new record Volume 1, a collection of previously released and unreleased singles.

Comprised of nine tracks, Volume 1 will feature dance floor-driven cuts such as ‘Wicked’ featuring Eliza Legzdina, ‘Get Creative’ featuring Nova, and the absolute banger ‘Body Go’.

Having proven to be a true master of musical styles, lau.ra has gained recognition in the industry for the work as a member of the band Ultraísta, pop releases via her previous moniker Femme, as well as her current solo recordings.

Regarding Volume 1, lau.ra mentioned:

“I didn’t want the pressure of framing these tracks as an album. They weren’t approached as a ‘body of work’ I just made some banging singles. And then I made some more banging singles, and suddenly I had a lot of banging singles and thought why not sling them all together and press them as a collection on vinyl. So that’s how ‘lau.ra – volume 1’ was born.”
