Having already produced tracks for grime vets such as Wiley and Skepta, South London’s Kid D is gearing up for the release of debut LP as an emcee titled Substance. Whilst we patiently await for the project to drop, the Lewisham native has unveiled a new cut featuring none other than Novelist. ‘Serious Choices’ is the name of the tune and finds the two dropping verses about decisions and how to move progressively forward in the future. The grime production encompasses a melodic feel, something that Kid D has built a signature sound on. Have a listen.
