It has been about 3 years since Kelela released her album Raven. While apparently she wasn’t going to drop music this year, the Ethiopian-American artist has unveiled that her new LP new avatar is definitely arriving in 2026. Along with the announcement, Kelela has also unveiled a new song called ‘Point Blank’.

Keeping in stride with her blend of experimental rhythms and r&b melodies, ‘Point Blank’ is a soulful yet unorthodox slice of electronica that, despite its icy sonics, vibrantly shines, making this a fantastic return from the boundary pushing artist.
