Dominican Republic-born, L.A.-based artist Jarina De Marco have brought forth her vibrant video to her track ‘Tigre’, which is featured on the Broad City soundtrack. Directed by Weston Getto Allen and Michael Zarowny, the tropical background setting consisting of graphic images of fruit coincide with scenes of a blow-up tiger and at times, a real cat hanging about. Indeed the video is eye-catching, with the music production leaning on the experimental side of electronica.

Touching on ‘Tigre’, Jarina De Marco wrote:

“’TIGRE’ is Dominican slang for ‘Fuckboi’. He’s that macho, womanizing, thinks he’s sooo slick, guy that you, your mama and your girlfriends can spot a mile away. He’s that dude hollering at you when all you wanna do is get some damn platanitos at the corner bodega. He’s that lip licking, habitual line stepping, cat-calling pendejo none of us have time for. In ‘TIGRE’ I’m recognizing him, calling him out and eye rolling him into oblivion.”
