Bristol mainstays IDLES have shared a new cover of the Sharon Van Etten cut ‘Peace Signs’. The original version appears on Van Etten’s 2010 LP Epic.

Beefing up the instrumentation with their colossal brand of punk, IDLES deliver thundering drums underneath whipping guitar lines, all topped off with front man’s Joe Talbot’s in your face delivery. Right before the two minute mark, the band takes the energy through the roof with their signature mountainous pickups and Talbot’s whirlwind of performance energy. This is surely a power-punching rework of an already great tune. Have a listen.
