Nottingham trio GIRLBAND! may be relatively new to the scene (forming in 2022) but there potential is immense. Releasing their debut single ‘Boys With Girls’ a year ago, their organic approach and DIY spirit gave a window into the possibilities of where the band could go. Now in 2024, and signed to EMI North / Soul Kitchen, GIRLBAND! return with their new single ‘Not Like The Rest’.

‘Not Like The Rest’ finds the group unleashing that initial potential with a finely executed, slick produced handing of alternative. The sound is wider and even more mainstream accessible. With a big gang pop chorus weaved into the mix along with remaining punk traces, ‘Not Like The Rest’ could be considered the group’s true coming out party.

GIRLBAND! have also shared a video to coincide with the song. The visuals feature the trio roaming around the streets of Berlin. Have a look.
