Taste-maker, DJ, radio presenter and Brownswood label owner Gilles Peterson has stepped up to curate a new remix album of jazz singer Melanie De Biasio’s No Deal. Always one to travel the road of eclecticism, Peterson gathers the likes of EELS, The Cinematic Orchestra, Seven Davis Jr., Sinbad and more, to transform the critically acclaimed No Deal LP into a wonderland of downtempo, moody electronica, house, Hip-Hop and nu-jazz. The album will get released Feb. 23rd via Play It Again Sam. Below is the Brazilian-infused Hex remix of De Biasio’s “The Flow”.
