Leeds band Far Caspian have released their second EP The Heights, the follow-up to their 2018 debut Between Days. The new record consists of five tracks intertwining breezy shoegaze, indie and atmospheric pop. Dreamy in sound, there are elements of an 80s pop layering that foster a hazy and joyous nostalgia.

Touching on the EP, Far Caspian mentioned:

“The Heights has taken us a lot of work to get to where it is. We started with some songs that were brought into a studio and we soon realised we weren’t the sort of band that could work that way. We took the tracks away and then re-recorded it in our house.”
