Toronto’s Dermabrasion are set to release their new album Pain Behaviour on January 26th via the Hand Drawn Dracula label. Production for the LP is handled by Josh Korody.

Having shared their track ‘Goblin Dance’ back in 2023, the duo now unveil their latest single ‘Magic Missile’.

What you get with ‘Magic Missile’ is a punchy hybrid of dark post-punk and coldwave that is powered by a menacing guitar riff along these hammering, crashing drums. With the haunting vocals of Kat McGouran taking the song over the edge, ‘Magic Missile’ is a heavy sonic blow that crushes anything in its path.

Dermabrasion have also shared accompanying visuals to ‘Magic Missile’. Directed by Shelby Wilson, you can watch the video below.
