Margate band debdepan have unleashed their latest track ‘Habit’. The song is taken from their forthcoming EP Lovers & Others which is set to land November 28th.

With ‘Habit’, the pair deliver a killer mixture of indie sleaze reminiscent of the early 2000s as well as electro, which shifts the song into genre twisting territory. With the 4×4 kicks operating like the heartbeat, sizzling guitar riffs storm in before shifting back to the calm of the vocals and drums. “This song is about feeling like you’re not good enough for someone and having to play it cool to win their affection. We wanted it to feel quite repetitive to signify how my thoughts kept circling. ‘You talk for hours’ is actually about the thoughts in my own brain.”
