As Canadian artist Bria is gears up for the release of her forthcoming EP Cuntry Covers Vol. 2, which is out February 24th via Sub Pop, she unveils a cover version of Loretta Lynn’s ‘Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ on Your Mind)’.

Transforming the original version into more of a wild rock meets pop-friendly rendition, the upbeat production definitely gives the iconic tune new life that stretches beyond the world of country.

Regarding the cover, Bria stated:

“We wanted to reimagine all the confidence and assertion in Loretta Lynn’s version into an upbeat and frantic pop song. One that reminded me of my seventeen-year-old self when I heard it for the first time.”
