London’s Benin City have always been alchemists of sorts, fusing everything from jazz and soul, to pop and club in a way that is cohesive and accessible. Having released their album Last Night back in 2018, Benin City followed up with a string of singles including ‘What a Time’ and ‘Freaking You Out’.

Benin City now make their return with a new single entitled ‘We Belong To Us’. Crafting a brilliant pop banger that has an 80s tinting to the production, the tune is upbeat and dance friendly, with vocalists Joshua Idehen and Shanaz Dorsett gliding over the rhythms in top form, each bringing their own unique delivery yet meshing together seamlessly.
