Singer, songwriter, and producer Andrew Jim Gannon, who has previously recorded under the moniker of On Man, has released his new album Hydrate Those Folds!.

Having gone through a year of battling health issues, the new work reflects a new sound from his previous records. Comprised of 11 songs in total, Hydrate Those Folds! is a moody, emotive, and absolutely gorgeous LP with Gannon experimenting with art pop, electronica, indie, and more. Lush melodies dance around the atmospheric soundscapes that never seem to be too much or too little. Using choir vocals in a cinematic manner, Andrew Jim Gannon surely taps into his expertise of composing for films, with many of the songs having a soundtrack quality to them. A stunning release from the multi-disciplinarian, it is safe to include Hydrate Those Folds! in the run for album of the year.
