Producer Frankie Alpha has released a killer new single dubbed ‘Bludgeoning On the Dancefloor’. The song will be featured on his debut EP that will land in the near future.
Refusing to be caged by any specific sub-genre of electronica, ‘Bludgeoning On the Dancefloor’ fuses everything from house, UKG, IDM, and bass. Even the vocals sound more like something that would fit post-punk production. While there may be various musical hybrids blended in the track, this is still a punchy and absolute scorcher for the dance. Those who are fans of the late, great Andrew Weatherall, will definitely love this one.
Regarding the ‘Bludgeoning On the Dancefloor’ , Frankie Alpha said:
“I fed off its light and floaty, synth sound and the rhythm of it. I like how the clunky bass distortions clash like peanut butter and glass with its fragmented soul sound and underlying, provocative groove.”
