Ireland-born, London-based artist Biig Piig steps forth with her latest release ‘Ponytail’, the follow-up song to her previous cut ‘Favourite Girl’, which dropped back in October. Both tunes are taking from her forthcoming LP 11:11, out in 2025.
Keeping in stride with the sensibilities of the dance floor, ‘Ponytail’ is a 4×4 ethereal club tune that touches on the struggles of remaining in a not so great relationship. Produced with Mac Wetha, the singe has an entrancing seduction that blends engaging lyricism and something to make you move your feet.
Regarding ‘Ponytail’. Biig Piig mentioned:
“I was thinking about the feeling of tied to someone and wanting to break the cycle, but not being able to, and kind of admitting defeat,β Biig Piig explains of the brand-new track. βItβs a bit of a sad banger. Crying at the club: my favourite thing to do!”
