As a duo Colin Newman and Malka Spigel have been creating music technically harking back the mid 80s. The team would go on to release their debut album Oscillating in 1994, followed by Full Immersion (1995) and Low Impact (1999). Eventually taking a break to work on their other respected ventures, Newman and Spigel make the return under the Immersion name with their forthcoming LP Analogue Creatures Living On An Island, out November 25th via swim~. One of the songs featured on the album is the entrancing, minimal electronic piece ‘Fireflys’. A sparkling soundscape of such, we have a full stream of the tune down at the bottom. Have a listen.
