Wipe away those winter blues at London’s latest pop-up, as Queen of Hoxton’s WigWamBam rooftop hidey-hole gets ready to open on Thursday January 12th.
Shoreditch venue Queen of Hoxton is transforming its roof terrace into the capital’s cosiest cove, with a giant teepee that will stand tall amid the city skyline, and will provide a getaway for Londoners of all walks of life.
Come in from the cold and settle down in the warm candlelight of Queen of Hoxton’s intimate rooftop pop-up WigWamBam; grab a tasty bratwurst-in-a-bun fresh from the enormous schwenkgrill that sits in the centre, and while away those chilly hours with a drop of mulled wine – or swig on a hot’n’spicy cider.
WigWamBam brings the spirit of festival fun and camping in the summer to the heart of Shoreditch to get you through those dark winter’s evenings. Gear up for singalongs, flame-cooked feasts and a whole lot of fun. Escape from the city hustle-and-bustle, with boozy treats, sausage-eating competitions, acoustic musicians popping up and candle-lit readings around the fire.
The Queen of Hoxton rooftop became a ‘venue’ in its own right during summer 2011, with the stunning Rooftop Cinema showing classic movies. It received rave reviews, and now Queen of Hoxton is looking after you all over again, this time with WigWamBam – it’s the warmest rooftop den in London!
WigWamBam, East London’s very own rooftop pop-up teepee bar opens on Thursday January 12th. Why don’t you come and see what all the fuss is about… You won’t want to leave!
It’s WigWamBam time – make yourself comfortable!
