There is something to be said about a producer who has released records on some of the most respected labels in electronic music including Yoruba Records, Poker Flat, Planet E, Cocoon and more. In other words, that person knows how to produce excellent house music. Vince Watson is that guy, and he now steps up to work his magic with the forthcoming remix package of Kiko Navarro’s 2006 ‘Siempre’, originally released on Pacha Recordings. What could be described as sophisticated tribal tech, Watson’s ear for detail and musicality transforms the Balearic piece into an all-out 4×4 masterpiece equipped with vibrant strings and sultry synths. Kiko Navarro’s ‘Siempre (Vince Watson Remixes)’ is out May 25th on Glasgow Underground.
