UK band Faithless comes to an end after 15 years

Released in a statement by Maxi Jazz on the Faithless website, the successful electronic British group has decided to call it quits after a stunning 15 years. Comprised of Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and Rollo, Faithless injected eclectic 4×4 rhythms topped with lyrics of social consciousness, self growth and understanding into the world of dance music. “After 15 years(!) and six albums(!!) I think we’ve probably made our collective point by now and that it’s time to close the book and return to the library…” quotes Maxi. Faithless has released multiple top five chart placing albums which included the 2001 release “Outrospective” and their 2004 release “No Roots”. The band’s latest album “The Dance” was released in 2010. Collaborations have included artists such as Dido, Cat Power, ZoĆ« Johnston and more. Faithless has surely left an impact not only in the genre of Dance but music overall.
