With his tenth studio album “Adrian Thaws” due in September, Bristol legend Tricky has unveiled a new cover version of the classic Janet Kay song “Silly Games” featuring singer Tirzah. Originally released in 1979, Tricky’s new updated makeover retains a lovers rock feel and is actually not as dark as people would assume. This coincides with Tricky’s statement regarding his forthcoming LP, as well as those trying to ‘understand’ his sound and style. In a statement he wrote:
“So many times people have tried to put a finger on me and every album I go to a different place.”
If you pre-order “Adrian Thaws” now via iTunes, you’ll receieve both “Nicotine Love” and “Silly Games” instantly.
