Canada-born, Los Angeles-based artist and producer Robert Alfons aka TR/ST has shared a cover version of Pet Shop Boys classic track ‘Being Boring’. This makeover features Jake Shears.

Rather than just doing a note for note version, TR/ST’s redo of ‘Being Boring’ feels more beefed up, incorporating more of a dance element with the 4×4 drums. There are new wave synth spreads that give it that gentle texture as well as a sense of nostalgia, with the vocals being really fitting. Overall this is a really good cover, breathing new life into the tune.
