New Zealand-born, London-based artist October and the Eyes is someone who needs to be put on any music lover’s priority play list. Having stormed through the door with her haunting track ‘Spiral’ a couple months back, she returns with her latest single ‘When I Was Your Girl’, taken from her upcoming EP Who Upset You?, out June 24th on KRO Records.

‘When I Was Your Girl’ is the epitome of sexy rock & roll. Combining elements of post-punk, noise, blues rock, and more, October’s alluring vocals atop the steamy production makes for the perfect soundtrack to any hedonistic night. With the lyrics revolving around the days of old with a former love, October hits the bullseye smack dead in the middle with this absolutely stunning release.

October and the Eyes has also shared an accompanying video to ‘When I Was Your Girl’. Directed by Alexander Schipper, you can stream the visuals below.
