Dallas duo The Weird Sisters have been carving out a lane in the Texas DIY scene for a number of years now. That freedom has allowed the band to explore various rock sonics and even bizarre lo-fi style Hip-Hop tunes with vocalist Izaac Short delivering a rapping/singing style on tracks. With their forthcoming album WHO ARE THE WEIRD SISTERS? dropping February 3rd, 2024, the pair have shared their latest single ‘Waiting So Long’.

‘Waiting So Long’ finds The Weird Sisters playing on top of a beat going in reverse whilst lush guitar riffs gently float on top. Plucky keys and angelic back vocals create a serene and blissful handing. The only downfall to the track is that is literally only 1 minute and 13 seconds long.
