Releasing his mixtape None of Us Are Getting Out of This Life Alive back in 2020, Mike Skinner aka The Streets is back with a deliverance of the darker side of life and clubbing with his new single and video ‘Troubled Waters’. The track is taken from his forthcoming album and film titled The Darker The Shadow, The Brighter The Light, which will land October 20th. The entire project was funded by Skinner himself.

The video ‘Troubled Waters’ features clips of the film which finds Skinner DJing for a crew but appears to be caught up in the underbelly of crime and drugs, whilst also trying to navigate the constant cycle of club land. You can watch the vid down at the bottom.
