L.A. outfit The Interrupters have unveiled their latest video ‘Raised By Wolves’, which is taken from their current album In The Wild, out now on Hellcat/Epitaph Records.
The video features front woman Aimee Interrupter performing the track whilst walking in a forrest. Eventually she comes face to face with a wolf, which, rather than fear, prompts a smile on her face. There are weaved in black and white clips of the entire band also playing the tune. ‘Raised By Wolves’ is directed by Ethan Edwards.
Touching on the single, Aimee Interrupter mentioned:
“In my formative years, I grew up with a lot of turmoil and abuse in the house. I had no consistent parental figures to turn to and I couldn’t trust anyone. I ended up in a foster home and moved around a lot throughout my childhood. This set the stage for many missteps in my life. I truly feel that I was raised by wolves…in the wild. This song is me coming to terms with that and forgiving those who I expected to be there for me, while also forgiving myself.”
