The fin. Unveil Their New Song ‘Missing’

Japanese band The fin. are set to drop their debut album There on June 8th. Already giving listeners a taste of what to expect with the tracks ‘Shedding’ and ‘Snow (Again)’, the trio have now brought forth another cut entitled ‘Missing’. A cosmic ride through melodic lanes of indie with a splash of 70s pop, the song is built on slinky synths, a bouncing bass line and upbeat drums that will definitely get the head nodding. ‘Missing’ continues to spotlights the band’s diversity of sound while still maintaining core indie roots.

Detailing the inspiration behind ‘Missing’, Yuto Uchino stated:

“When I was a teenager, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do or what I wanted to be. I was trying to forget the problem by concentrating on something. For me, it was playing guitar. I made this guitar riff first, and it has the vibes of the uncertainty that I used to have.”
