Last month Tame Impala (Kevin Parker) shared the insanely hypnotic track ‘End Of Summer’, which indicated that a new album was in the works. Well it turns out that a new LP titled Deadbeat will indeed drop next month, October 17th to be exact. Keeping the momentum going, another single and video has surfaced. ‘Loser’ is the name of the track, which taps into Parker’s electronic funk bag, that he is ever so skilled at.

The video itself is directed by Sam Kristofski. Filmed in Los Angeles, it features a guy who’s girlfriend has just dumped him, all the while struggling with life in general. He finds himself walking across the road to a corner store and just sitting in the front until nighttime with not much to look forward to unfortunately.
