House heavyweights Yousef and Harry Romero join forces for their new collaborative EP 'I'm Behind You', out September 23rd via Jamie Jones' Hottrax imprint. A certified 4x4 smash for the dance floors, the title cut is a driving, bass-weighted fusion between tech, deep and jazz-influenced house. The EP also includes a remix courtesy of Alan Fitzpatrick, with Yousef rounding out the release with a solo-produced song entitled 'Tightrope'. Joining Circus label boss in rounding off a second year of successful, ground breaking and packed Circus events in the London Egg venue, Yousef invites Kölsch, Catz & Dogz and Kydus to celebrate with him in the capital.
The last year has seen Kölsch reaching stratospheric success. Yousef will be touring Australasia, but he leaves the club in very capable hands and has once again crafted a line of up epic proportions covering the full spectrum of authentic and emotive House and Techno presented by the worlds finest exponents, Jamie Jones, Carl Craig, Nic Fanciulli, Jesse Rose and Detroit Swindle, supported by residents Lewis Boardman and Scott Lewis.
The relentless pressure to present an unequivocal clubnight program of the leading global producers and DJs does not stop, and Yousef and the Circus team deliver yet again, no questions asked.
Delivering perhaps the most solid of underground selections from System of Survival, Shaun Reeves, Wildkats and Yousef beating out their twists on House, Techno and Electronic music and reinforcing the Circus message of Enlightenment and Entertainment. Some of the Northern club sensibilities have embedded themselves with the Egg London crowd, as the dance floor behavior is starting to mirror that of the hallowed home turf of Circus Liverpool’s East Village Arts club.
