Listen to Attic Giant’s Cinematic Tune ‘Blow’

Launched by Daniel Tischler, Attic Giant is the exciting Vienna-based band weaving between the sounds of brilliantly arranged indie, folk and pop. Their debut single 'Blow' is a sample of what the group have coming down the pipeline. A cinematic journey bursting at the seams with full scale arrangements including strings, guitars and even a brass section, Attic Giant are a group that is surely going to leave a huge mark in music this year.

Sohn ‘Hard Liquor’ Video

Sohn returns with a video for his song 'Hard Liquor', taken from the upcoming album 'Rennen', out on the 13th of January. Filmed in a moody, black and white manner, there are clips of a man who looks like he's been to hell and back as he floats around, often times falling to the floor as other scenes highlight a trembling drink in the glass. Whilst surely elegantly shot, the video will probably make you want to go sober...for the rest of your life!

Check Out the MOUNT Remix of Kytes’ ‘On The Run’

Austrian producer MOUNT sparks a deep, 4x4-driven remix of the Kytes tune 'On The Run'. This version is a brilliant contrast to the main version, punching with sharp, pulsing synths and a head-bopping drum change-up on the verse. The original song is taken from Kytes' 'On The Run' EP which is out now on Lichtdicht Music. Have a listen.

If one were to take notes on the expansive career of Richard Dorfmeister and Rupert Huber, specifically their work as Tosca, what would be transparent is the refinement, taste and continued progression that their music has reflected. Part of a wave of producers who helped to spearhead in an electronic movement throughout the 90s that took on various titles such as acid jazz, trip-hop and in the 2000s, future jazz, Tosca's sound could be appropriately called simply...timeless, forward-thinking music, opposed to any infliction of tags. It is that process of transcending any one label that has kept the two musicians consistently relevant for two decades.
