Preview Lee Wilson’s ‘Turn You Up Remixes’

When a heavyweight in the game such as Kenny Dope stands behind a project, that means that something special about to come down the pipeline. NYC vocalist Lee Wilson has recorded a number of cuts ranging from r&b and dancehall, down to soulful house. Wilson now joins the roster at Kenny Dope's Dopewax label for the release of the remixes to his single 'Turn You Up'. Out the gate Kenny Dope is joined by fellow New York giant Todd Terry for two dark and husky, beat thumping reworks that will definitely move the dance floor whilst Kevin Sylvester adds a golden touch of deep and soulful house fitting for the late night experience. Grammy Award nominated DJ/Producer Todd Terry has been engulfed in dance music since he first started listening to European dance music records while growing up in Brooklyn. Already devoted to turntables, he heard something different in those tracks, and he “went for the difference. I never got a break in New York, but England happened right away, so I catered to them.” In any event, the Todd Terry sound was born.
