Back in 2018 Vancouver band In Mirrors released their debut LP 'Escape From Berlin'. Produced by Italians Do It Better label boss Johnny Jewel, the seductive and cinematic album was another steamy offering from the IDIB camp, with a sound that fans have come to expect from the imprint.
Istanbul band Jakuzi are gearing up for the release of their new album 'Hata Payı' which is out April 5th on City Slang. As the release date rapidly approaches, the band have unveiled the video for their track 'Toz'. Enlisting Eli Kasavi on the direction front, the stylishly shot vid is a continuation of Jakuzi's 'Şüphe' which originally displayed an interaction of dancing between a couple and featured Jakuzi front man Kutay Soyocak standing off to the side simply observing in a doubtful manner. For 'Toz', Soyocak now alienates himself in a room of flashing lights and continues a dance solo. Have a look.
Chromatics are set to hit the road for a tour across North America, their first public outing as a group in more than five years. We're keeping our fingers crossed in hopes that a new album will also be on the way. In the meantime, the band have shared a new single and video titled 'Time Rider'. Directed by Chromatics themselves, it consists of kaleidoscopic visuals of singer Ruth Radelet performing the tune in the Italians Do It Better cinematic fashion. Musically the song is a seducing and luscious synthwave meets pop whirl of goodness.
Coldwave duo Boy Harsher have unveiled the official video for their smoking hot track 'LA'. Directed by Kathleen Dycaico and Jill Ferraro, the story revolves around two lovers who film themselves having fun and romping around in the bed whilst onlookers watch via streaming. They eventually head to the woods with a shotgun to shoot at a television displaying themselves.
Depeche Mode have shared the official video to their new single 'Where's The Revolution', taken from the band's forthcoming LP 'Spirit', landing on the 17th of March. Directed by Anton Corbijn, the black and white video features the group questioning the actions of the people in regards to change whilst standing in front of a group of men marching, dancing and waiving flags whilst all in sync. The song is definitely a direct response to the current wave of political events around the globe.
