Whenever Berlin's Dina Summer releases new music, we stop everything to run and listen. So when the news that they were releasing their new album 'Girls Gang' was landing in January 2025, we couldn't help but feel that rush of excitement.
In the late 1970s the sounds of Italo disco were taking hold in Italy and throughout Europe, coinciding with disco scenes that were dominating the clubs throughout major cities across The United States. However, when the infamous Disco Demolition Night took place on July 12th, 1979 in Chicago, the sound would face a demise, driving it deeper into underground spaces in the U.S.
With his new album 'Another Heaven' landing later in the year via Italians Do It Better, Berlin-based producer and DJ Curses have shared the title track to the LP. The song follows his previous track 'Elegant Death' which dropped a couple months back.

Love Object, the Moscow-based group consisting of Dasha Utochka and Danya Mu, are set to release their debut album 'New Flesh' on December 3rd via Italians Do It Better. Having previously released their video 'The Kill' last month, Love Object have now unveiled their latest tune titled 'Abyss'. The song is an upbeat, dance-driven, synthwave meets new wave meets pop handing, with Dasha Utochka continuing to sing in her native Russian.
London/Glasgow post-punk trio Shopping are gearing up for the release of their new LP 'All Or Nothing', out February 7th via Fat Cat Records. One of the songs that will be featured on the record is their latest single 'For Your Pleasure'. An ode to letting go of material things that are only temporary satisfying, the sonic marriage of post-punk, new wave and minimal synth act as the perfect musical palette for the potent and must-needed lyrics.
Post-punk, electronic duo Collapsing Scenery return with a new track entitled 'Bush Mama Blues'. The song is taken from their forthcoming LP 'Stress Positions', landing this June. Frenzied in sound, the transitions from a chaotic slice of electronica to a beautiful piano-led composition. Berlin by-way-of NYC producer and musician Curses has teamed up with duo Local Suicide to release new collaborative EP for the UK-based Tusk Wax imprint. Simply dubbing it 'Tusk Wax 28', the 4-track record finds the artists doing what they do best, which is pump out dark and husky disco, hedi EBM, acid and synth wave, all spawned with a post punk sensibility. A complete soundtrack to late hour clubbing in Berlin, the EP follows Tusk Wax's 'Tusk Wax 27', all the while bringing more bite and edge. Stream a preview below.
Massachusetts band Boy Harsher will release their new album 'Careful' on February 1st, 2019 via their Nude Club Records imprint. The duo have also shared the video for the second single release entitled 'Fate'. Filmed in Glasgow and directed by Bryan M. Ferguson, the blood fest visuals feature a woman who's listed as missing, strolling the streets after performing a series of murders, the woman seems to go about her business in a calm and collected fashion.
