The Libertines ‘Heart Of The Matter’ Video

Whilst most peep shows feature naughty women exposing themselves, a peep show starring The Libertines feature the band members torturing guys by smashing a bottle on his head, pouring alcohol over him, as well as injecting him with drugs in their video 'Heart Of The Matter'. Although the people paying for the show are in complete ecstasy over the experience, the end reveals that the tortured men are actually The Libertines themselves. The song is taken from their latest LP 'Anthems For Doomed Youth'.

However, Cleveland artist Marcus Alan Ward has indeed stepped up with an exciting version of 'Black Magic Woman'. Incorporating heavy guitar play over a smoked-out groove, the song is taken from Ward's forthcoming EP 'Marcus In Wonderland'.

Waxahatchee Shares ‘The Dirt’

Coming off of the back of her widely acclaimed album 'Ivy Tripp', indie rocker Katie Crutchfield aka Waxahatchee shares the third single from the LP entitled 'The Dirt'. Fully amped with an electrifying charge of heavy guitar riffs and Crutchfield's amazing ability to vividly paint pictures with words, 'The Dirt' is another shining moment from an already incredible recording. Gary Clark Jr. ‘Church’ Video

For his latest album 'The Story Of Sonny Boy Slim', Gary Clark Jr. dug deep into the musical heritage of the American South, incorporating elements of blues, gospel and rock, with soul leading the bulk of the LP. This is the video for his song 'Church'. Directed by Danny Clinch, the black and white visuals are shot in a minimal manner with Gary Clark Jr. and two singers performing the song in a yard, whilst in front of a white backdrop. Khruangbin Announce New Album ‘The Universe Smiles Upon You’

One band that has been on our radar for sometime now is the Texas-based band Khruangbin. Already wowing listeners with recordings such as 'The Infamous Bill' and 'A Calf Born In Winter', Khruangbin is now gearing up for the release of their debut album 'The Universe Smiles Upon You'. Recording the LP in a barn in the Texas countryside, the Houston-based band further delve into the sound of 60s Thai funk, surf-rock and exotica. Although known for their instrumentals, 'The Universe Smiles Upon You' will feature a number of vocal cuts.
