Stella Donnelly ‘Tricks’ Video

Stella Donnelly is prepping for the release of her new album 'Beware of the Dogs', landing March 8th via Secretly Canadian. Having already shared the tracks 'Old Man' and 'Lunch', the Australian singer has now dropped a video for her current single 'Tricks'. Directed by Nick Mckk and Julia Jacklin, Donnelly is constantly bombarded by a dancing ex-boyfriend who is going out of his way to get her attention...literally. From dancing in her home to shaking a leg out in the street of her workplace, he ultimately gets the hint towards the end as nothing he does seems to convince her, as she finally waves goodbye.

Stream the Latest Public Practice Track ‘Slow Down’

Brooklyn's Public Practice deliver post-punk potency with their latest single 'Slow Down'. Taken from a limited edition 7" which also features tracks by Flasher and Gong Gong Gong, the song is a social commentary piece over firey, off-kilter guitar lines, revving drums and Sam York's straight-talk vocal commands. 'Slow Down' is out via Wharf Cat Records.

Cherry Glazerr ‘Wasted Nun’ Video

Los Angeles band Cherry Glazerr unveil the video for their track 'Wasted Nun'. The dark and creepy Jess Calleiro-directed visuals feature singer Clementine Creevy dressed as a scantily clad nun rolling around on steps or angrily raging behind a cage. It has to be mentioned that throughout the video, Creevy has a fishnet top exposing her breasts which adds a sort of naughty element.

Finn Andrews Shares His Latest Single ‘Stairs to the Roof’

Known for his work with the successful band The Veils, front man Finn Andrews have announced the release of his solo album 'One Piece At A Time'. Scheduled to land on March 22nd, 2019, the LP will get released on the Nettwerk label. Having already shared his track 'Love, What Can I Do?', Andrews has now dropped his new single 'Stairs to the Roof'. A beautiful and emotive piece continuing to highlight his clenching songwriting skills, the production is graced with lush piano play and marching drum kicks. Easing to the soul, we're highly excited for Finn Andrews upcoming work.

Desperate Journalist ‘Cedars’ Video

London band Desperate Journalist will release their new album 'In Search Of The Miraculous' on February 22nd, 2019. This is the group's third effort following their critically acclaimed second LP 'Grow Up'. One of the singles that will be featured on the upcoming album is 'Cedars', which they have also shared a video for. This is sort of a day in the life of front woman Jo Bevan who rides the tube and sits in the passenger seat of a car performing the tune before meeting up with the rest of the band members. Directed by Jason Weidner, you can watch the vid below.

Hailing from South London, HUSSY is the music moniker of Sophie Nicole Ellison who, whilst relatively new to our ears, has had a couple tracks out in the world over the past couple months. Her new single 'HUSSY' is definitely a stand-out cut that jumps between dark pop and lashing indie, with splashes of hard rock guitars that create a fiery edge. Ellison delivers a grungy / ghostly vocal performance that is at times eerie and raw but no less exciting. She is absolutely an artist who should be on your radar. Have a listen.

Canadian band Never Better have shared their new track 'Alone'. The song follows their 'Guns and Roses’ Roses' split release with Grievances back in March. Recorded by Simon Larochette, the song is a streakng blast of alternative, punk and alt pop. With the track highlighting the joy of those initial stages of love, even when it isn't reciprocated.
