Budapest band Ivan & The Parazol are gearing up to release their brand new LP 'Exotic Post-Traumatic', landing March 22nd via Butler Records. Produced by Wil Anspach in Los Angeles, the record is the follow-up to their 2015 album 'The All Right Nows'. One of the tracks taken from the forthcoming LP is the band's latest single 'When I Was 17'. A nostalgic reflection on their teenage years, musically the song straddles a fine line between glam rock and psychedelic, whilst sprinkling droplets of California garage and desert within the production. Classic in sound, Ivan & The Parazol are among some of the modern groups helping to bring the core sounds of rock & roll back to the forefront. Check it out.
NYC-based siblings Bailen make their impressive debut with the hazy track 'I Was Wrong'. Part alt-pop and part indie with a subtle sprinkle of Americana, insanely pristine production jumps through the speakers as the group delivers lush three-part harmonies amidst silky guitar riffs, rubbery bass picks and head-nodding drum kicks.
Watching a live show of New York band Mother Feather feels like you're engaging in rock & roll performance art. Aside from the obvious visual presentations of front woman Ann Courtney and singer/keyboardist Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Carena - which include stark make-up combined with a bold fashion flair, their performances are wild, energetic and ultimately free. Musically the group, which also features guitarist Chris Foley, bassist Seth Ondracek and drummer Gunnar Olsen, has been dubbed by the press as purveyors of the classic New York City rock sound whilst effortlessly giving it their own modern stamping.
Representing everything great about post-punk, noise and more, Bird Shoes, comprised of Robin Clark and James Gordelier are not only musically creating some of the most core sounds of the sub-genres, but are having a fun time doing so. Striking the match with their song 'Lads' earlier this year, they have continued to leave their firm imprints in the scene with their exciting live shows around the UK.

London rockers Sisteray have released their new EP 'Sisteray Said' via Vallance Records. Comprised of four songs in total, the band deliver a face-hitting and impacting styling of punk bursting with sheer energy. The record is the follow-up to their debut EP '15 Minutes', as well as playing a stream of shows across the UK over the past year.
NYC rockers High Waisted definitely know how to party it up. Aside from making our lives look totally stale by comparison, the four piece outfit have been owning the New York underground scene for years now. Their debut LP 'On Ludlow' was a masterpiece and the band also delivered a pretty hot playlist for ColoRising Mixes: 26. Now taking their sound to a higher level, High Waisted have released their new 7" record 'Free Throw/Firebomb'.
Known for their mesh of classic rock and roll and modern psych pop, Trudy and the Romance return with their latest single 'Is There A Place I Can Go', taken from their forthcoming EP 'Junkyard Jazz' out November 17th via B3SCI. Taking a nod at the 50s era of rock ballads, an added taste of cinematic pop reels in a romanticism of a golden period that sounds better than ever in this current day. Trudy and the Romance definitely have a lot of excellent sounds to deliver. Have a listen.
