NYC’s Bailen Make Their Debut with ‘I Was Wrong’

NYC-based siblings Bailen make their impressive debut with the hazy track ‘I Was Wrong’. Part alt-pop and part indie with a subtle sprinkle of Americana, insanely pristine production jumps through the speakers as the group delivers lush three-part harmonies amidst silky guitar riffs, rubbery bass picks and head-nodding drum kicks. The song is taken from their forthcoming debut LP Thrilled To Be Here, which is produced by John Congleton. Bailen have definitely made an epic entrance.

Touching on the ‘I Was Wrong’, Bailen stated:

“The song is about coming together and listening to the other side of an argument, hearing another perspective, and being able to say I was wrong. It was inspired by the growing global divide in ideology and a general unwillingness to hear out someone with differing opinions. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is admit your faults, but often it’s the only way to move forward.”
