Otherkin ‘Tombstone’ Video

Dublin band Otherkin return in 2019 in a big way with their latest single 'Tombstone', the first release since the group's 2017 debut LP 'OK', and it's blazing hot. Fostering a sound that is electric rock pumping with energy, Otherkin have also unveiled the official video to coincide with the track. Directed by Wolf James, the visuals find frontman Luke Reilly frantically trying to escape three masked men seemingly waiting to seal his fate. Eventually that fate catches up to him, forcing Reilly to now join them. If this is a taste of what's to come from Otherkin, then we are intensely excited to hear their new album. Have a look.

Friedberg Make Their Debut with ‘Boom’

Anna F. is no stranger to music, having released 2010's acclaimed 'For Real' LP and 'King in the Mirror' in 2014. She also had a role in the film 'Der Mann aus dem Eis (Iceman)'. With all of her success, Anna F., born Anna Wappel, now unveils her new band Friedberg. The first handing from the group comes in the form of the cut 'Boom'. Sultry with an undeniable edge, the production swerves between alternative, indie and trip-hop with Anna F. delivering smokey vocals on top. Reminiscent of Tricky or Massive Attack, 'Boom' is definitely a dark delight.

London band Calva Louise have been blazing trails in the UK punk scene, carving out their own lane, making them one of the more intriguing bands of the scene. After previously releasing cuts such as 'Outrageous' and 'I Heard A Cry', Calva Louise have dropped their debut LP 'Rhinoceros'. Comprised of ten tracks, the group fuses together punk, post-punk, indie and more. Whilst their sound has been driven by electric and fuzzy guitar liners, the trio have also incorporated pop-centric hooks in their songs, creating a bigger canvas to musically paint on.
