Cornwall band Auction For The Promise Club released their debut EP One back in 2012 with songs acquiring support on BBC Radio 1 and more. Going on to drop singles such as 'This May Hurt', the trio make their return in 2017 with a forthcoming LP entitled 'Silence' out June 9th, and the fiery, new single 'Moonlight'. The no-frills rock cut has a subtle build up before exploding into a hard drum pounding, guitar racing bit that punches with force. This is a pure serving of rock and roll, straight with no chaser.
L.A. band The Regrettes have surely been on a great streak so far, dropping a number of punk-driven tracks such as 'Hey Now' and 'A Living Human Girl'. With their forthcoming debut LP 'Feel Your Feelings, Fool!' landing next year, the group have now shared their latest single 'Seashore'. Toning down their sound just a notch, brandishing a sleek stir of punk and 50s pop rock, the track reflects a rapid growth in the band. According to their Facebook page, the song is a dedication to the newly elected US President Donald Trump.
New York City band Manic Pixi reflects the very example of what it means to take varied musical influences, place them in a blender and stir them together, with the outcome being a true collage of styles married in perfect union. This is also a testament to their family-like environment that has been instrumental in the group’s groundwork rising and progression. Bursting with an explosion of rock with a pop appeal, the song follows The Academic's 2015 'Loose Friends' EP. Produced by Philip Magee, the song will be available August 12th.
