PINS ‘Aggrophobe (feat. Iggy Pop)’ Video

We have been raving about Manchester-based punk band PINS for a little while now. With a sound energetic and full of life, the foursome have shared the video for their latest Iggy Pop collaboration track 'Aggrophobe'. Stylishly directed by Olivier Richomme, the video finds the girls fashionably dressed whilst doing random things backstage in the midst of waiting to come out and perform on stage. Without knowing, the crowd is impatiently getting fed up after sitting through a number of bad acts.

Back in early 2015 London band H.Grimace released their 'I Am Material' EP, which was an explosive 6-song record packed with wholehearted post punk goodness. With their debut album 'Self Architect' landing April 7th on the Opposite Number imprint, the group have shared their second single taken from the upcoming LP entitled 'Land/Body'. Riding a roller coaster of multiple guitar riffs, hard-pounding drums and smokey vocals, this is pure petrol in the tank for those who like their punk organic and raw. Have a listen.

Wire Make Their Return with ‘Short Elevated Period’

Some of the top rock bands spanning the past thirties years will openly mentioned that they were inspired by Wire. Having played an integral part in the development of post-punk, the group is currently celebrating 40 years since their first performance. This is also manifested with the release of their fifteenth studio album 'Silver/Lead', scheduled to land March 31 via pinkflag. Kicking off the upcoming LP is their latest single 'Short Elevated Period'. Pushed by revving guitars, the song grabs bits of golden era punk whilst simultaneously keeping the sound up to the modern times with no intentions on being a throwback piece.

Australian band Batz are hands down one of our fave groups from the land down under. We were supporters of the five-piece before their debut EP and of course by the time they released their killer record 'Night Terrors', the Melbourne-based band did not disappoint in any shape, form or fashion. With a blend of punk, garage, indie and more, Batz can do no wrong in our eyes at the moment. Now back with a new song titled 'Darlin'', the indie/post-punk bit finds the crew bridging the energy of their raw sound of the past with more even polished production, making this one another top-rated and insanely addicting release. Hanni El Khatib Announces Upcoming Album ‘Savage Times’ and Shares Latest Track ‘This I Know’

L.A.-based garage rocker Hanni El Khatib has announced the details of his forthcoming album 'Savage Times' out February 17th on Innovative Leisure. The new work features the full collection of his Savage Times EPs released in 2016, along with a batch of new tracks. There will also be limited edition 10" vinyl books available for purchase. To coincide with the news, Hanni El Khatib has also shared his latest track titled 'This I Know'. A raw soul meets rock concoction, the track will also be featured on the upcoming LP. Recording under the moniker of Rein, the Swedish singer isn't your typical Scandinavian pop act, but rather an artist whose high octane-powered sound of electro, punk, dance and more, is pulse-raising and undoubtedly exciting. Hailing from Stockholm, Rein kicked in the door of the industry like an unexpected tidal wave pushing at full force. Her 2016 self-titled EP bridged everything from electro-punk down to darkwave, an appropriate soundscape to her commanding delivery. Containing tracks like 'Can't Handle Me' and 'There Is No Authority But Yourself', the record was like a siren sounding off to those ready to challenge a system of normality and the status quo. Her song 'I Don't Get Anything But Shit From You' took things back to the raving sounds of electronic hardcore, pumping with unprecedented adrenaline.
