Julia Shapiro ‘Natural’ Video

Chastity Belt singer Julia Shapiro will release her debut solo album 'Perfect Version' on June 14th via the Hardly Art imprint. Recorded during a rough patch of her life, the Seattle-based artist played every instrument on the LP with the exception of trumpet and violin, which are played by guest musicians Darren Hanlon and Annie Truscott.

Berlin-based post-punk band The Underground Youth have unveiled another single entitled 'I Can't Resist', which leads up to their new album 'Montage Images of Lust & Fear'. The slow-burning track begins with a minimal haunt before kicking into more of an upbeat call and response style chorus with fuller instrumentation helping to pump the BPMs.

Tacocat Share Their New Single ‘Hologram’

Seattle band Tacocat have unveiled their latest single 'Hologram', taken from their forthcoming album 'This Mess Is a Place', out May 3rd. A call to action regarding the current political and social climate, the content is a window of what to expect with the LP. Musically incorporating more of a pop element to their already fuzzy pop soundscape, the single follows the band's previously released track 'Grains of Salt'.

Curses & Local Suicide Release Their Collaborative EP ‘Tusk Wax 28’

Berlin by-way-of NYC producer and musician Curses has teamed up with duo Local Suicide to release new collaborative EP for the UK-based Tusk Wax imprint. Simply dubbing it 'Tusk Wax 28', the 4-track record finds the artists doing what they do best, which is pump out dark and husky disco, hedi EBM, acid and synth wave, all spawned with a post punk sensibility. A complete soundtrack to late hour clubbing in Berlin, the EP follows Tusk Wax's 'Tusk Wax 27', all the while bringing more bite and edge. Stream a preview below.
