SpaceAcre Interview

Sometimes happenstance can foster something that in unexpectedly great. In the case of Phoebe Little and Jas Scott, it was a coincidental meeting at a writing camp in Normandy where their interaction began. Even that encounter was circumstantial as it was producer James Sanger who connected the two together after hearing something in both of the women and understanding that they would be a perfect musical match. He was right. That pairing led to Little and Scott forming the band SpaceAcre.

MJ Cole Releases New LP ‘MJ Cole presents Madrugada’

UK legend MJ Cole has released his new album 'MJ Cole presents Madrugada'. Comprised of 12 songs in total, the LP was recorded with violinist and arranger Tobie Tripp, as well as a 14-piece orchestra. Crafting absolutely gorgeous piano-led compositions, the record highlights the producer and musician's ability to step into spaces of classical and jazz whilst still taking the listener on a cosmic voyage, something that he has effortlessly done throughout the years.

Laurel Halo Shares Her Moody Track ‘Hyphae’

Berlin-based producer Laurel Halo has shared her new track dubbed 'Hyphae'. The song is taken from the original sound track for the film 'Possessed' directed by Rob Schröder and Metahaven. 'Hyphae' is a moody hybrid of experimental electronica and post classical. Co-produced by Paul Corley, the musical arrangements are composed of haunting strings, eerie piano riffs and fuzzy effects, teetering between dark and atmospherically beautiful.

Johanna Glaza ‘Exile’ Video

Known for consistently and boundlessly pushing her artistry, London-based Johanna Glaza is set to release her new album 'Exile', out February 28th. She has also unveiled the official video to the title track. Directed by Laima Stasiulionyte, the black and white-shot visuals beautifully captures Glaza amidst a village landscape, with the artist strolling down the winding roads.

Susanna & The Brotherhood of Our Lady Share ‘Wilderness’

Susanna and her band The Brotherhood of Our Lady are rapidly gearing up for the release of their new album 'Garden of Earthly Delights'. Having already previously shared the song 'Ecstasy X', the band have now unveiled their new tune 'Wilderness'. Open and spacious with interplay between Susuanna's vocals, a piano and eventually light strings, the track is a cinematic presentation, which further gives listeners a window peak into what's forthcoming on the new LP.

Bristol producer Sebastian Gainsborough aka Vessel has announced news regarding his forthcoming album 'Queen of Golden Dogs'. Landing November 9th on the Tri Angle label, running themes of the record include curiosity, change and devotion, as well as grief. Vessel has also shared his new single 'Argo (For Maggie)', which will also be featured on the upcoming LP. The song is a barrage of rhythms ranging from hyper-electronica to chamber lashing through the sonic abstract, fostering new sounds that are truly unique and unorthodox.
